What we collect, and at which moment
We collect in three situations, and nothing outside them.
When you order. Your name, shipping address, billing address, email, phone number, the items ordered, and the last four digits of your card with its expiry. We never receive your full card number; it goes straight to our payment processor.
When you contact us. Whatever you put in an email or in the Contact Us form, plus our replies.
When you browse. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the site that referred you. This arrives automatically through cookies and server logs.
We do not ask for a date of birth, a government ID, or a social security number. Nobody acting for us has any reason to request those, by email or by phone.
Why we hold each piece
- Fulfilling your order. Your address has to reach the warehouse and the carrier or the parcel cannot move.
- Support. We need your order history to answer a question about it.
- Fraud and chargeback defence. IP and billing data protect both of us.
- Legal and tax records. US law requires us to keep sales records.
- Marketing, only if you opted in. Unsubscribe in one click and we stop.
Who else sees it
Four categories of recipient, no others:
- Our third-party fulfilment partner in China, which receives your name, address and phone number so it can pack and dispatch your parcel. It receives no payment data.
- Payment processors (Stripe, PayPal), which hold the card data we never touch.
- Carriers delivering the parcel.
- Analytics and email providers that run this site and our mail.

Your data crosses a border
Because our fulfilment partner is in China, your name, address and phone number leave the United States when an order is passed on. We mention it here rather than burying it, since it is a real transfer and you deserve to know before you order. The transfer is limited to the fields needed to deliver a parcel, and the partner may use them for nothing else.
Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies keep your cart and your session alive. Analytics cookies tell us which pages people actually read. Your browser settings control all of them, and blocking analytics cookies does not break checkout.
How long records live
Order and tax records stay 7 years, which is the retention US tax rules expect. Support emails stay 24 months. Marketing contacts are deleted within 30 days of unsubscribing. Server logs roll off after 12 months.
What you can ask us to do
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, a correction, deletion, or an end to marketing. Send the request from the email address on the order, to [email protected]. We answer within 45 days, usually far sooner, and there is no charge.
Deletion has one limit: we must keep the tax record of a completed sale even after we remove everything else.
If you live in California
The CCPA and CPRA give you the rights above plus the right to know the categories we collect, the right to opt out of sale or sharing, and the right not to be treated worse for exercising either. We never charge a different price or withhold service because someone exercised a privacy right. The opt-out form is on our Do Not Sell My Information page.
Children
This store is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.
Keeping it safe
The whole site runs on HTTPS. Administrative access is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfect, and we would rather say that than promise otherwise. If a breach ever affects your data, we notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
Changes to this page
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. A change that affects how we share data is announced by email to customers on file.
