Santos-Dumont XL Steel & 18ct Rose Gold Silver Dial Leather Strap Watch6

Cartier Santos Dumont XL Steel & 18ct Rose Gold Silver Dial Leather Strap Watch W2SA0017.Â

When famous Brazilian pilot requested a legible timekeeping instrument that would assist with his flights, Louis Cartier responded with the innovative Santos Dumont design in 1904. This large-sized men’s Cartier Santos Dumont watch remains faithful in many ways to the original design. Its instantly recognisable screws bolting an 18ct rose gold bezel onto a stainless steel case balances function with luxurious elements perfectly. The watch is also 30-meter water resistant and provides a safe and secure environment for a mechanical movement to operate within. The manual winding, calibre 430 MC performs at 21,600 oscillations per hour and provides the wearer with a 36-hour power reserve for those occasions spent off the wrist. The men’s Cartier Santos Dumont watch in XL size Features a silvered satin-finish sunray-effect dial adorned with a traditional crisp black Roman numeral hour track. Other signature hallmarks of Cartier’s expert watchmaking are present in the blued steel hands and inner minute track. An 18ct rose gold beaded steel crown is set with a blue synthetic spinel cabochon and the watch is attached to a classic-looking black alligator leather strap with a steel ardillon buckle. The dimensions of the Santos Dumont’s square-shaped case measure: 46.6 mm x 33.9 mm.Â
